Questions & AnswersProductsAbout Mitch Adler

Dear Mitch,

Is it true that you and your staff and interns are taking off the next few weeks to go on summer holiday?

(Just wondering)

If so, Cheers!

Dear Scott M.,

Yes and no.  We're basically taking a break from posting new Q&A's, but I'll have sporatic access to my laptop (or someone else's), and so I will be returning all incoming mail (including math questions, college application questions, college admission questions, and general standardized test-taking questions for the verbal parts of the SAT, SSAT, PSAT, ACT, STATE-tests, Regents Exams, and, well, you get the idea.

After a hectic year in which one of the members of our small team experienced a serious health situation, we have decided to take the summer to recuperate and spend time with friends, family, and the beaches of various coasts.

Also, of course, we plan on learning more, and 'regrouping', so that we will be ready to make the website even more engaging than people have been kind enough to inform us it currently is.

I will, however, give you one 'coming attraction':  By the early autumn, we will have a sizeable collection of downloadable and easily printable illustrated and entertaining math story-books for our younger audience, and these books will come complete with printable hands-on learning tools to accompany them.  If all goes as planned, each book will be available for FREE in either black-and-white or colored versions, and can be printed one page at a time or (we hope) be formatted so that they can actually be read and enjoyed on your screen.  These are some big goals, given the relatively simple technology we used in starting the entire website up within thirty-six hours from conception to 'live on the Internet', so in the process we will have to recreate a lot of little things behind-the-scenes.

Until then, have a great summer and continue to learn, think, imagine, and dream!
